I am thankful for this:

 

The idea that a virgin would be selected by God to bear Himself...

The notion that God would don a scalp and toes and two eyes...

The thought that the King of the universe would sneeze and burp and get bit by mosquitoes...

It's too incredible.  Too revolutionary.

We would never create such a Savior.

We aren't that daring...

In our wildest imaginations we wouldn't conjure

a king who becomes one of us.

But God did.  God did what we wouldn't dare dream.

He did what we couldn't imagine.

He became a man so we could trust Him.

He became a sacrifice so we could know Him.

And He defeated death so we could follow Him.

I am thankful for children that are Best Friends...

and for Lyla finally feeling back to her usual self!

*On a side note, the bottom photo makes me smile because every day the kids go to that wall and stand straight against it to show me how big they have gotten :) (I have no idea where that came from, but it makes them both so proud when I say they grew overnight!)

Today I am thankful for...

I am thankful for accessories (so is Landon) and for happy healthy baby boys that keep me going going going.












I am also thankful for little Princesses who are still under the weather--and finally succumb to dreamland...
































and lastly, for a beautiful afternoon spent outdoors with Landon, doing who knows what...but still having fun. <3

New Year, New Plan...

Hello friends,
it has been a while...

I had an idea for my good ole 365 Blog for 2012.
Since it is not incredibly realistic for me to post a new photo everyday I will now post things I am grateful for as they occur. The posts will not occur daily, but often enough and will be a nice reminder of the things that make me smile in my everyday life.
